Short sweet and to the point: You know that neon pink, milky substance you had as a kid? Or..er, last week?  You know, it has a bunny on the front and it sure is delicious… but it’s not exactly good for your supportive diet. Enter the non-powdered strawberry milk. In a blender, add 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk with 1 scoop of protein powder (I use Prograde Vanilla), and a big handful of strawberries.  Blend.  Close your eyes.  Sip.  Ahh, you’re a kid again…

Ahh. it’s cooling off here in Vermont, and that means one thing- I can use my oven again!  Yay! I had a couple of sweet potatoes, a rather uncomfortably chilly kitchen, and fries became the result! First, preheat the oven to a scorching hot 500 degrees, chop up the sweet potatoes into fry-sized pieces (cut in quarters, then roughly 5 fries long x 5 fries wide [wow, say that 5 times fast!] per quarter of the potato for even, consistent fries), and find a cute kid. Well, vacation is over for me.  Sad, but I am so, so happy to see my kiddo’s!!! As I get ready to head home, I’m a little melancholy.  You see, my whole reason for doing this trip was because this was always my Mom and I’s dream trip.  We had planned to go to Bermuda this past September, departing from Boston… but instead, we were pushing her in a wheelchair into the Dana Farber Cancer Center in the very same city. Well, sadly, we’re on our way back to Boston.  Tonight, on-ship, there’s lots of entertainment, including the White Hot Party in the Nightclub (guests wear ALL white), and in the theater, Comedy Night.  I LOVE Comedy shows!  Ben and I went to Cheers  in Boston once this past winter (yes, the one where everybody knows your name), and saw the performer who was set to (the following week) perform for the President of the US- he was HILARIOUS.
