Oh this would come in very handy in my kitchen. It would save me so much time and effort.
As a great grandmother of two little darling girls, I naturally love the pictures of your beautiful children. Second best are your recipes, especially those “designed” for children who don’t like vegies or other fussy eaters.
My favorite part is when you have stories that include me.
I LOVE lK. I love that you are a real person who is LOCAL, someone I can relate to! You are living proof that there is no magic to being healthy & losing weight; but rather it’s about making wise changes and choices and those can include delicious foods! Keep up the great work!!
Nedah,
I love your LK website because I love your recipes. You have come up with some amazing food ideas that have helped me stay on track. So I guess my favorite part are definetly the recipes, but I do enjoy reading your stories leading up to the recipes. And of course who would not enjoy looking at all the beautiful pictures!
Nedah,
I love EVERYTHING about LK!! But mostly I love your personal touch with stories and the fact that I can browse your site and search for recipes which I can make using ingredients that I have just by entering the ingredient in the search field to bring up whatever recipes you have with that in it!! I also love how helpful you are meaning if I have a recipe that needs to be “leankitchenfied” you do!!! So basically I love everything…oh and did I mention I love the “new look” of LK? Love that too!! : )
I would love to win this giveaway! I actually don’t have any sort of zester, and I am always struggling to find my grater (which is bulky). This littl guy would definitely come in handy in my kithcen!
What do I love about leankitchen? WHAT DON’T I LOVE?! Okay…let’s get serious. Before leankitchen, cooking to me was re-heating things in my microwave! SAD, I know but cooking just didn’t appeal to me. I would get distracted and put the wrong ingredient in when trying to follow a recipe (baking soda instead of baking powder), or maybe even the the wrong amount (a tbls insead of tsp), or even mix up recipes (putting mandarin oranges into a punch – mixed it up with a jello salad recipe…they were on the same page – talented, I know.)

I would get impatient waiting for things to cook (let’s be honest, I should say waiting for things to burn). Things just never came out the way I wanted them to – they didn’t look like the picture, they didn’t taste the way my mom’s did…and so on and so on.
But now I am loving being in my kitchen!! I try every recipe I am able to on leankitchen and I get excited to find new ones to try! I am eating foods I never thought possible, putting together meals that are not only beautiful to look at but AMAZINGLY good to eat and supportive! It’s the perfect combo!!!!
When we used to have family get-togethers, it was always my job to bring the rolls or chips and dip. My family NEVER trusted me to make anything – THEY KNEW BETTER! My trach-record wasn’t exactly the best! Now I make things and MY FAMILY ACTUALLY EATS IT…the difference now? Well, they’re not just eating my dish to be nice – THEY ACTUALLY LIKE IT!
LEANKITCHEN has changed my life – I know that sounds drastic but it’s true.
And the best part? I know my mom would be so proud…
You make healthy cooking fun and your so creative with what you make!! Love Lean Kitchen
I love the recipes and the personal touch – but can I just say Dev’s response to your question…amazing!!
What I love about Lean Kitchen are the recipes – especially the ones that the kids love!
I love your recipes and the fact that you are helpig people eat healthy. That is very important to teach kids that at a young age. Also I love the fact that you share with us about your family and friends…
Thank You for what you do
Rose
I love how you make healthy food kid friendly – not that I have kids of my own – but a kid-picky appetite
Your writing style is fun, honest and entertaining. Keep up the good work!
What I LOVE about Lean Kitchen is that a a skeptical person your receipes are great. They are easy, healthy and tast amazing. I also love that you are a real person. You always share stories about life and family. Thanks!!!
When I am thinking whats for dinner I turn to one of your ideas. I was thinking this weekend they served articoke dip and some ham slices rolled with cream cheese and asparagus and I was thinking how would Nedah make it more supportive. I t is nice to have a place to go when you just can’t think or for someone going through the same things. Thank you…
everything is wonderful, love the recipes, stories, etc. keep up the good work. happy birthday camron. have a great day.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your recipes!! I’m a fairly new reader but I’ve already tried out a few recipes!! One was used on 4th of July for a bbq… it was a HIT!
Thank you!
Another favorite of mine is your pictures that go along with your recipes… personally it helps me know what the end product should look like!
Well, to say leanKitchen has taken an immense undertaking by making eating healthy appealing is a huge understatement. What I like best is the fact that the recipes on here are real world based, meaning they are affordable to make, time friendly, kid friendly, and support health and fat loss which are two things 99% of us desperately need. The done-for-you recipes are just that, done for you so you don’t have to come up with some concoction and stress whether it is going to be healthy for you or if you or anyone else will actually eat it.
I think you should make a product called 101 Done for you leanKitchen lean body recipes. I’ll even throw in a workout plan for people to follow!. People want to feel better about themselves, and you are doing it!
I Love that when I make a lean kitchen recipe and I’m eating it at work or out and about and I have someone ask me about it I get to tell them what it is and blow them away. Such as the black bean brownies or your lemon bars. Then I’ll tell them about lean kitchen and it’s usually someone who’ve I’ve seen trying to watch their weight or eat supportively so I’m excited to be able to pitch lean kitchen because I love so many of the recipes and I know they will benefit from them too. I recently made the zucchini chicken pesto for dinner and that came out so wonderfully delicious! I’ve lost 15 lbs in the last 2 months. A combo of work and eating well. Happy Birthday Camron!!! and Thank you lean kitchen!
I love it all! The recipes, the pictures, all of it! The recipes are so quick and easy, which is definitely a plus for any busy family. I also love the fact that you are doing this for us and having fun at the same time!! Keep up the good work Nedah! Happy Birthday Cam!!
I love all the recipes that you provide not only with your newsletter but on Facebook as well. You also cater to many different “lifestyles” (low carb, low calorie, etc). You don’t just focus on one group. You also so that it can work. A lot of your recipes I have tried and “tweaked” for myself and my lifestyle. I still can’t wait to try your “rice” (cauliflower).
Also, the most important comment of all: HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAMERON!!!!!
Oh Nedah, you know how much I love leanKitchen! You have not only taught me how to eat supportively, but how to cook! Before leanKitchen, I could boil water and make pasta or shepard’s pie. That’s it! Now, I’m baking with black beans, simmering scallops and grilling pineapple! It’s fantastic! And I absolutely love your photos!
But most of all I love sharing leanKitchen.com and your recipes with friends and family. Everyone wants to know how to eat healthy and still have it be easy, affordable and tasty and you have done just that.
You have changed the way I look at eating and cooking and you are changing lives everyday with your stories and recipes! You are an inspiration!
Brand new to this website and hoping to make some positive changes in my kitchen!
